Frequently asked questions

Everything about designing, previewing, and sharing your tattoo with Inkark.

How does Inkark turn my picture into a tattoo design?

Upload any reference photo or artwork, pick a tattoo style (fine line, blackwork, traditional, and more), and the studio redrafts it as clean tattoo line art you can refine, trace over, and download.

Can I see the tattoo on my own body?

Yes. Upload a photo of your arm, leg, or any body area, then place the design on it. You can drag it into position and fine-tune rotation, scale, position, and ink opacity, and the AI preview shows how it sits on your skin.

What does the PDF for my tattoo artist include?

The print-ready PDF includes your final design at true size, a 5 cm calibration bar so your artist can verify the scale, your chosen body placement, and notes. Your artist can print it and use it directly as a stencil reference.

How do share links work?

From the Print step you can create a private link with your design, body placement preview, and specifications. Send it to your artist by text, email, or any app. Links stay active for 30 days and anyone with the link can view it.

How much does Inkark cost?

Every new member gets a 7-day free trial with full access. After the trial, membership is $10 per month. You can cancel anytime from the membership page — access continues until the end of your paid month.

Is the free trial really free?

Yes. You are not charged during the 7-day trial, and the trial is offered once per person. If you cancel before it ends, you pay nothing.

Will the tattoo look exactly like the preview?

No preview can guarantee a skin result. Inkark is a planning aid — your tattoo artist must confirm final placement, scale, line weight, and skin suitability before tattooing.

Who can use Inkark?

Inkark is for adults (18+) planning real tattoos. Always work with a licensed professional tattoo artist for the actual tattoo.
